SACE Options
To enable students to be flexible to meet SACE requirements and personal educational plans, all students in Year 10 SOSE will be enrolled in SACE Stage 1 Work Studies. This gives all students a Group One subject. Students may choose not to be enrolled in SACE, but the course of work is the same.
Year 10 students may apply to study other Stage 1 (Year 11) SACE subjects. Undertaking SACE Stage 1 subjects could be particularly useful for students studying LOTE and Music or Maths/Science who may need to take an overload in Stage 1 in order to meet the required SACE pattern.
ACCEPTANCE INTO SACE SUBJECTS IS CONDITIONAL ON PLACES BEING AVAILABLE, DISCUSSION OF STUDENT NEEDS AND OVERALL PROGRAMME DEMANDS.
