A symphony of stories
On Friday the 28th August we celebrated Book Week at MGHS with our annual costume parade.
We had some very enthusiastic students and staff showing off some amazing creativity and a love of diverse characters.
Some highlights were the wonderful partner and group costumes, including Ms Little and her minions. There was fierce competition amongst the staff with spectating students cheering them on, but ultimately Mrs Robinson’s Lego Batman stole the show.
A big thanks to the art department, and our social media promoter for assisting the English department with all organisations for the day. And to Collins for providing vouchers for our award winning bookworms.
Whether students dressed up, watched and cheered, or participated in the parade, we loved seeing them enjoying and expressing themselves as much as we did!

🥈 Silver was awarded to Sharleah and Amber as Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde from Zootopia
🥉 Bronze went to Olivia and Amelia as The Lorax
👯 Best Group was awarded to The Minions
🦸 Best Educator went to Mrs Robinson as Lego Batman
