National Careers Week is an exciting opportunity for students to explore future pathways, discover new interests, and engage with the many career and study options available to them.
Throughout the week, students will have the chance to participate in a range of activities, presentations, and experiences designed to build confidence, spark curiosity, and support informed pathway planning for life beyond school.

Tuesday 12/05 – Resthaven Aged Care Presentation
Students will explore the world of aged care through an interactive presentation and activities, while learning about the skills, compassion, and pathways involved in the industry. This is also a fantastic opportunity for students interested in school-based traineeships and future employment pathways.
Wednesday 13/05 – Limestone Coast Jobs, Skills and Careers Expo at Wulanda Recreation and Convention Centre
Students will have the opportunity to engage with a wide range of employers, training providers, and local industries while exploring future study, employment, and apprenticeship pathways through interactive displays and conversations.
Thursday 14/05 – Australian Defence Force Presentation
The ADF will present on career pathways and opportunities across the Navy, Army, and Air Force, providing students with insight into Defence Force training, life experiences, and future career opportunities.
Monday 11/05 & Friday 15/05 – GTE Networking and Employability Skills on the
Representatives from GTE will be working with students to develop practical employability skills and build confidence in professional communication and networking.
Friday 15/05 – Careers Quiz on the SACE Floor
Students are encouraged to test their career knowledge and explore different industries by participating in the Careers Quiz on the SACE Floor. Prizes are up for grabs!
