We are proud to announce that Year 12 student, Callum McIntyre-Gregory, has been selected to receive an Order of Australia Student Citizenship Award at Government House in December.
Callum is being recognised for his outstanding leadership and commitment to service across our school, region, and community. As School Captain, he has strengthened student voice, founded the South East Region Initiative for Student Empowerment (SERISE) to connect leaders across 14 schools, and restructured student leadership at MGHS to make it more inclusive and empowering.
His passion for equity and wellbeing has seen him support cultural inclusion, LGBTQIA+ students, mental health awareness, and all-abilities sport, while also volunteering through headspace, civic forums, and community events. From delivering the ANZAC Requiem before 5,000 people to coaching regional soccer teams, Callum has consistently demonstrated humility, vision, and a genuine commitment to others.
