I am delighted to share that applications are now open for the 2026 Scholarship Program at Mount Gambier High School. Now in its 30th year, this program has a proud history of supporting students in our community, especially those in need of financial assistance.

A range of scholarships are available for students across different year levels, including support for academic achievement, sports, fitness, tutoring, and trade pathways. Some scholarships are tailored for specific year levels, while others are open to all.

Scholarships on offer:

  • Years 7, 8, 9, or 10:

    • National Tutoring Centre Scholarship (Mathematics and/or English tutoring)

    • Shingokan Karate School Scholarship (membership and uniform)

  • Years 10, 11, or 12:

    • K&B Mitre 10 Construction Trades Scholarship ($500 voucher for tools/equipment)

    • District Council of Grant Academic Scholarship ($750)

    • UFS Chemist Academic Scholarship ($500)

    • Squashbrook Fitness & Leisure Scholarship (gym membership)

  • Years 7 to 12:

    • Max Megaw Rotary Club Memorial Sporting Scholarship ($1,000)

We strongly encourage all students who could benefit from additional support to apply, and I ask families and staff to help spread the word. Home Group and subject teachers – please encourage students to consider these valuable opportunities and assist with applications if you can. Students may need guidance in completing their applications.

Application forms are available from the Front Office and must be returned, signed by both student and parent/caregiver, by Friday, 20 March, 3:30pm.
