Bringing Stories to Life

Last Friday, our school community celebrated Book Week with a vibrant Dress Up and Casual Day. It was amazing to see the creativity and effort that both students and staff put into their costumes, bringing to life a wide range of favourite characters old and new.

Students were especially excited to see the different costumes worn by their peers and teachers, creating a wonderful atmosphere throughout the day. Participation nearly doubled compared to last year, which is an outstanding result given this is only the second time the event has been held in recent years.

A key part of this success comes from the involvement of staff, as students seeing their teachers join in the fun inspires them to participate in future years. The lunchtime Book Parade was another highlight, with prizes awarded to the best costumes across both student and staff categories.

This celebration not only encouraged a love of reading but also strengthened the sense of community within our school. We look forward to seeing the event continue to grow in the years ahead.
