On Sunday 22nd March, Mount Gambier High School proudly welcomed back former students from the Class of 1986 and 1987 for a special 40-year reunion tour. Facilitated by Mr Roulstone and Ms Robinson, the afternoon was filled with nostalgia as old scholars explored the new Fenwick and Vorenas buildings, enjoyed the Garry Costello Centre for the Arts, and revisited the Miller and Carthew buildings that hold so many shared memories.
A real highlight was when the group sat in on a history class with Mr Roulstone—bringing back memories for everyone! True to high school tradition, some were highly attentive while others enjoyed a sneaky conversation at the back. It was wonderful to see that some things never change!
Thank you to our hosts and to everyone who attended for making it a joyful, memory-filled occasion. The enduring MGHS spirit was clearly on show—here’s to old friends and great memories!
