Get Ready to Shine, Class of 2025!
The end of year is fast approaching and with it the Year 12 Formal. Our student formal committee have been working hard to help organise the Year 12 Formal.
As part of the class of 2025, family and friends of our year 12 students are invited to attend the Barn Palais on Saturday, 15 November from 6.00pm to celebrate the end of the 2025 school year. Doors to the venue will open at approximately 6.30pm.
Students will be recognised with the presentation of a certificate in acknowledgement of their time at Mount Gambier High School.
The formal part of the evening from 7.00 to 9.00pm will include a 2-course dinner, presentation of certificates and formal speeches.
There will be no alcohol available during this time as this is an official school function.
At 9.00pm, the official school function and formal proceedings end, from which time a DJ will begin entertaining the crowd. The Barn Palais will remain open until 11pm.
The bar will be open from 9.00pm onwards and alcohol will be available only to those who have identification.
This year we will be utilising our own external booking platform – Try Booking. Tickets, at a cost of $75.00, can be purchased using the booking link https://www.trybooking.com/DEUNF from Monday 13 October until 3.30pm on Friday 7 November 2025.
Families will need to register their table name and any specific dietary requirements when purchasing tickets. If students wish to form a table with friends, select one name for the table and book tickets under that table name. Please note tickets will only be sold to Stage 2 students and their parents/caregivers and five tickets per family will be made available during this time (not including the Year 12 student).
Families can register their interest in purchasing up to five additional tickets by contacting Mount Gambier High School and will be placed on a wait list. Families will be notified after 7 November via email through the Try Booking platform if tickets become available and will then be able to purchase tickets through the booking platform.
If you have any queries regarding purchasing through the booking platform, Student Office staff will be happy to assist, but will be unable to book or complete payments on your behalf.
Frank Monger, MSP Photography, will be available for individual and family portraits in the Barn garden from 5.00pm. A ‘Class of 2025’ group photograph will be taken at 6.20pm sharp. Please be ready on time.
A photo booth will also be available from 9.00pm for friendship photos.
Formal or smart dress is required.
